Simple Wellness, Fitness & MedSpa – Branding Strategy & Website Design

Tallgrass Studios worked with representatives of Simple Wellness to create a branding strategy that updated and expanded their current identity. The new identity reflects the vision, culture and unique combination of services provided by their organization. The branding work included a new name, symbol, logotype, color scheme, fonts and a graphic standards document. Promotional work included a new website, correspondence materials, signage and digital advertisements.

The logo

The Simple Wellness logo portrays characteristics that communicate the value of their expertise and service. Seven petals and colors intertwine to form a cohesive icon for the brand. This reflects the elements of their fundamental seven-part program for achieving ideal health. The identifiers highlight the three branches of service of wellness, fitness and medspa.

The website

Tallgrass Studios designed and built a new website for Simple Wellness to promote the growth of their health and aesthetics programs. The homepage features a short introductory video, programmed to autoplay only on an initial visit. The considerable array of health and aesthetic services are easily accessible, with separate menus organized by condition and service type. Copy-heavy pages make use of tabbed content panels to sustain manageable page lengths. Sections of the site are color-coded according to their seven-part program for health. The site also features a custom events calendar, promotional landing pages and a private nurses’ portal. The immersive, bright and clean feel of the site conveys feelings of healthfulness and reinforce the Simple Wellness brand promise.

Walnut Ranch Website Design

Walnut Ranch Dental Spa provides modern dentistry with improved patient comfort.

Walnut Ranch tasked Tallgrass Studios with a website redesign as clean, modern and distinct as their dental spa in the Oklahoma desert. Rich desert tones and airy blues replaced the darker pallette of their former website. A custom rotating header greets visitors with photography and video, and offers clear calls-to-action. The content features valuable educational material including short dental animations, and SEO copywriting to better market their services online. Careful attention was given to website structure and navigation – patients have the most important information at their fingertips, and know exaclty where they are within the site.

The new website launched on March 21, 2018. Visit walnutranchdentalspa.com to see the full website.

Branding Strategy and Website for Rachel Treanor

Rachel Treanor worked with Tallgrass Studios to develop an identity that best represents her business philosophy. Rachel Treanor’s business offers strategic marketing and business development; the new logo, tagline and brand identity reflects her unique service offerings. Much thought and consideration went into the company name, colors, and brand marks. Tallgrass Studios selected the letters R and T from the founder’s initials to best represent the personal nature of mentorship offered by the company. The T also serves to reference the Teach, Track, Transform platform that is central to Rachel Treanor’s marketing strategy.

Tallgrass Studios designed and applied the new identity to collateral pieces, business cards, and, on May 30, 2017 launched a fully functional website that features customizable page information, news feed blog, and contact form. You Craft It, We Label It, They’ll Remember It!

Another cool project we’ve tackled lately was putting together a promotional piece for Mainline Printing. Since they specialize in providing labelling for craft beer companies, what better way to advertise than to show off some bottle label designs at the Denver BrewFest?

This project consisted of three labels put together by our team, which blended together eye-catching imagery with cheeky print-related “flavors”. Several of Mainline’s capabilities were featured in this piece, such as die-cutting, folding, UV coating and metallic inks. Despite its 0% ABV, it was still a fun collaborative project for our crew.

Here’s the Scoop (It’s for Poop)

Tallgrass Studios is always proud to support local Kansas businesses, and Integrated Employment Enterprises of Ottawa, Kansas is no exception. A certified not-for-profit business, IEE specializes in light manufacturing and providing staffing for general labor purposes, offering employment for individuals who are disabled or otherwise chronically unemployed.

Our Tallgrass Team, including designer/illustrator Shelly Albrecht, has been working with IEE to help establish a look for their new brand of pet products. The “Best Friends” pet line is made in the U.S.A., and includes products such as litter trays, deodorizers and scoops. One stand-out package we worked on is the Yard Waste and Litterbox Cleanup Kit: a nifty collection of tools for making waste collection a cinch. You’ll be able to spot these products in stores soon, with branding, packaging, labels and hangtags, all designed right here and printed locally.

4Sight Construction Group heads in a New Direction, Visually and Conceptually, with New Corporate Identity.

4Sight Construction Group (4Sight) has been working with Tallgrass Studios since 2015 to develop a new corporate identity that best represents the core of their business philosophy while incorporating all service divisions under one name/identity. 4Sight is a fully integrated construction group providing; general contracting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), mechanical installation and service, and environmental services for their clients; their new logos, taglines and corporate identity now reflects their unique and integrated service offerings.

Much thought and consideration went into the company name, colors, and icon at business conception. 4Sight selected the compass icon to best represent their company’s attributes. A compass is a surveying or navigational instrument developed to look carefully in a certain direction, and can be used to measure true direction. The compass is the beginning of a plan and the foundation of foresight – or 4Sight.

Tallgrass Studios redesigned the compass with a modern feel and utilized colors to segment the logo to represent the different service divisions for the company. The main color, Dark Blue, was selected for their core vales of trustworthiness, dependability and commitment, and as their main service, General Contracting. Red was chosen for Mechanical Services that include heating, air conditioning, service and installation. Green represents Environmental areas of their work, such as finding more sustainable ways to do business, restorative development, and demolition reclamation.

New taglines that play off the navigational theme were created to supplement each division.

Time was spent finding the right combination of elements, but eventually a new logo and graphic standards were put into place. Tallgrass designed and applied the new identity to collateral pieces, business cards, letterhead, vehicle wraps, construction signage, and, on July 1, 2016 launched a fully functional website that features an animated logo, customizable page information, news feed blog, image galleries and customizable forms that corresponds to their existing email marketing.

Visit their website at 4sightconstruction.com to see the logo and brand in action!
